appointment by Pope Benedict XVI to the Cardinalate.

With joy we renew our pledge of the support of our prayers.

Greetings, Your Eminence and congratulations from our family for allowing God's will for you to become Prince of the Church in the Philippines.  Two years ago, On Jan. 22, 2004, I wrote to you in behalf of my ailing father, Doy Laurel.  I had already addressed you as Cardinal Rosales, prophetic it was.  We pray that the Lord pours forth upon you this day an overwhelming measure of His abundant grace to overflowing, to help bring our people closer to God in thought, word and deed.  You will always be in our daily masses Your Eminence.  God is glorified through you.

Regards,
David, Ruby Laurel and Kids
