Christ is Risen! Alleluia!

The Easter Season celebrates the great mystery of our faith – Jesus Christ, our Crucified Lord, has risen from the dead!

Our experience of suffering, evil injustice and death, especially upon the innocent youth put our faith to the test.  Violence, poverty, sickness, broken homes and relationships hinder us from seeing the true face of God.  But because of our faith, hope and love we are led to His wounded face, the source of all healing.

The Risen Lord has not taken away suffering and evil from the world.  But he remains victorious for His grace and love overcame and transformed them.  The power of the resurrection is the power of love.  Easter was made possible because of God’s love for us.

We can also experience the power of Easter if there is love in our hearts.  Together, let us reflect upon this mystery as I invite you to our Youth Forum Ka-Talk #35 Easter+RRIFC: Tagumpay ni Kristo, Tuwa at Pag-asa ng Kabataan! On April 12, 2008 (Saturday) from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Cardinal Sin Auditorium, Paco Catholic School.

We can rejoice and hope for the Lord is risen.  Let us become apostles of peace and messengers of joy.  Let us radiate the power of love of the Risen Lord!
