Caritas Margins’ Buy and Give Expo 5 opens at Fisher Mall

Shop and help in Caritas Margins 5th Buy and Give Expo, where buying is the new way of giving to be held from June 9 to 12, 2017 at the Fisher Mall in Quezon Ave., cor. Roosevelt Ave., Quezon City.

The four-day Buy and Give Expo will feature variety of local products ranging from food, home and ladies accessories, personal care products, artwork from resident inmates of penal communities cared by Caritas Restorative Justice Ministry, and other gift items and decors from different marginalized community partners of Caritas Margins.

The blessing of the four-day expo will be led by Caritas Margins Executive Director Rev. Fr. Anton C.T. Pascual with expected guests Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista;  President and CEO Clothes Asia Ms. Ailenette Moleen Del Rosario, Ms. Emilie Cruz,  Caritas Margins benefactor and Mr. Luis Vera, Caritas Margins Board of Trustees on its opening day on June 9.

Aside from its various products from different community partners, the Expo will also feature musical performances by artists such as Sta. Isabel College Choir, Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program Scholar (YSLEP) performers, Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish and performers from the Diocese of Cubao.

“Let us support the 5th Buy and Give Expo at Fisher Mall this long-weekend so that we can truly make Caritas Margis the social brand to help end poverty.” Fr. Pascual said.

Proceeds of the Expo will be used to support Caritas Manila’s flagship program, YSLEP which supports more than 5,000 youth scholars nationwide.

Caritas Margins Buy and Give Expo 5 is co-presented by Caritas Manila, TV Maria, Veritas 846, Segunda Mana, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation Inc., BPI Asset Management Corporation, De La Salle University, Asia Pacific College, Saint Jude College and Seamen’s Hospital.

Caritas Margins is the social enterprise and marketing arm of Caritas Manila that markets products of marginalized communities & micro enterprises in the country.
