CHERRY RONDINA to be Cardinal Tagle’s guest at PCNE 6

Cherry Rondina, University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Most Valuable Player for Season 81, will be put to limelight with Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio G. Cardinal Tagle during a conference on evangelization.

Sisi, as her colleagues call her is a volleyball player from the University of Santo Tomas. She will be one of the sharers during the “Heart to Heart Talk with Cardinal Tagle” in the forthcoming sixth Philippine Conference on New Evangelization (PCNE 6) that will run from July 19-21, 2019, at the Quadricentennial Pavilion of the University of Santos Tomas in España, Manila.

The 5’6” Rondina is a breadwinner that hails from Compostela in Cebu. She has three sisters. Her mother Alona, a dressmaker and father Arnold, a fisherman. She will share her story of hope and faith on July 19, at 10:30 a.m. 

Her leadership, discipline, positive attitude in court are some of the qualities that young people may imitate as they proclaim the Word of God especially that the conference is in celebration of the Year of the Youth.

The 22-year-old lady tigress bagged four beach volleyball MVPs will also share the stage with actor Robi Domingo, one of the finest hosts in the Philippines and lawyer Anna Tarhata Basman, member of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority. (Jheng M. Prado/RCAM-AOC)
