Pondo ng Pinoy holds video making contest

Pondo ng Pinoy (PnP) Community Foundation, Inc. is holding a video making contest in celebration of its 15th year anniversary with the theme “Pondo ng Pinoy through the years”.

The video-making contest aims to increase awareness especially among the youth about PnP – its vision (pananaw) and its 4 pillars (education, promotion, projects, collection) as well as how lives have been transformed by those who give and receive from PnP.

The contest is open to all parishes and RCAM-ES schools in the Archdiocese of Manila. Each parish/school is allowed to submit one entry and must be endorsed by the parish priest.

The video can be in English, Tagalog, or Taglish and should be between 1-3 minutes in length.

All entries will be judged based on the following criteria: Message Content (20%), Relevance to the Theme (20%), Creativity (20%), Impact to Target Audience  - Motivation and Inspiration (20%), and Overall quality of the video/technical aspect (20%).

The deadline for submission of video entries is on August 16, 2019.

Three winners will be chosen.

The announcement of winners will be during the Manila Archdiocesan General Assembly (MAGPAS) on October 5, 2019.

Founded by Archbishop-Emeritus of Manila Gaudencio Cardinal B. Rosales in 2004, Pondo ng Pinoy, the poverty alleviation program of the Archdiocese of Manila has become a way of life giving the people the opportunity to be of service to others. It encourages Filipinos to save as little as 25 centavos a day. It carries the saying, "Anumang maliit basta't malimit ay patungong langit". (Jheng M. Prado/RCAM-AOC)
