Vision
The vision of the Apostolate is Total Human Integration
ad development of All Material and Spiritual Values in Christ towards
the building of mature Christian individuals and communities in common
WORSHIP, formative EDCUATION and outreach SERVICES following the three-fold
functions of Christ as Priest, Prophet and King according to the felt
needs of the community or parish. The vision entails the integration
of all human values (political, economic, cultural, social, physical and
spiritual) in the presence of Christ.
Objectives and Functions
A. Worship Ministry
- To set up guidelines and/or recommendations for all Prayer Groups/Communities
regarding policies, programs and activities that
are directed towards the proper worship of the Lord.
- To make representations to the proper authorities in the Archdiocesan Liturgical
Commission to provide rules and implementing guidelines for the Liturgy
of the Mass for the Charismatics.
- To give seminars/workshops concerning different activities on worship:
Liturgical, Paraliturgical, Public devotions and Christian music for the Charismatics.
- To help in the promotion of prayer life of the communities.
- To help in the training of Prayer Leaders in the communities.
- To take charge of the worship part in all functions and activities of the
Archdiocesan Secretariat.
B. Education Ministry
- To make a survey and study of the different policies, programs and
activities of all the Prayer groups/Communities in the Archdiocese
that are directed the continuous teaching of the Lord’s gospel and
Christian doctrines.
- To conduct Formation/Education Seminars and/or Workshops for
all Leaders of the different Prayer groups/Communities to help them
upgrade the quality of their above mentioned activities.
- To established Speakers’ Bureau in the Archdiocesan Secretariat.
- To conduct other activities relevant to the increase of Knowledge of the
faith in the Archdiocese.
- To perform other relevant functions as the needs arise on a case to case
basis.
C. Service Ministry
- To survey and make a Directory of all Prayer groups/Communities in the
different sectors of the Archdiocese of Manila.
- To establish communication links between the Secretariat of the Archdiocese
and the different sectors’ Prayer groups/Communities via Newsletters,
Telephone Brigades, Media, etc. to update them on the different activities
in the Archdiocese.
- To take charge of the Physical Arrangement, provide Ushers, Greeters, etc.
for the Archdiocesan affairs or activities.
- Other functions as the need arises from time to
time.
D. Temporalities
- To manage the finances of the Archdiocesan Secretariat Foundation.
- To make Research, Plan, Manage, Coordinate Projects for Fund-Raising to support
Priority Programs of the Archdiocesan Secretariat.
- To pool Human Resources, enlisting Prayer Group/Community Volunteer Workers for
the Specific Positions of Service such as solicitors for mass Offerors
or as Mass Collectors for Archdiocesan Liturgical Affairs.
- Other functions regarding Finance as the need arises.
D. Youth Ministry
- To make a program that will promote the Creation of a Forum on Youth of
the different sectors of the Archdiocese.
- To coordinate the different activities of the youth in the different sectors
to further enhance the Spirit of Unity and Brotherhood among the youth.
- To implement effectively the Vision-Mission Statement of the Youth Ministry.
- Other functions that maybe assigned by the Elders of the Secretariat.
