PARISH YOUTH MINISTRY

VISION AND MISSION

Youth journeying with and working in the service of their fellow youth in the parishes of the Archdiocese of Manila, together with the Parish Priests and the servant leaders towards an active participation in building a Christian Community.

Mga kabataang naglalakbay kasama ng at naglilingkod para sa mga kapwa kabataan sa mga parokya ng Arkidiyosesis ng Maynila kaisa ng Kura Paroko at ng mga laykong-lingkod tungo sa aktibong pakikibahagi sa pagbuo ng isang Kristiyanong Sambayanan.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

The Parish Youth Ministry shall:

1. Serve as the coordinating body of all youth members of mandated organizations and other groups and movements in the Parish.
2. Form and inform the youth in the parishes in order to prepare them to become leaders in their own communities in such a way that they become witnesses of Christ and evangelizers to their fellow youth.
3. Serve as an effective link of the youth in the Parish to the youth in the vicariate, district and the archdiocese and diocese.
4. Consult the youth in order to identify their needs; initiates, plans and implements relevant programs.
5. Spearhead the program formulation and implementation of general assemblies, planning sessions, teambuilding activities, etc.

COMPOSITION

The Parish Youth Ministry is composed of all youth members of mandated organizations, other groups and movements in the Parish and individual youth in the Parish who are not yet involved in any organization or group within the age of 15 to 39.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

1. EXECUTIVE BOARD – The Parish Youth Ministry shall be headed by an Executive Board working together as a team.  It shall be composed of the following:

3. Assistant Youth Coordinator
4. Youth Secretary
5. Youth Finance Officer
6. Spiritual Enrichment Committee Head
7. Social Action Committee Head
8.  Area/Group Representatives
