Five ordained to priesthood on Sept. 29

Manila Archbishop Gaudencio B. Cardinal Rosales ordained five deacons to the sacred order of the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Manila on September 29, 2007, feast of the Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, at 9 a.m. at the Manila Cathedral, Intramuros, Manila.

The five deacons ordained were: Jeremiah A. Adviento, UST Seminary; Antonio A. De Guzman, Jr., UST Seminary; Richard James M. Babao, Holy Apostles Senior Seminary; Arnold Rex L. Kintanar, Holy Apostles Senior Seminary; and John Patrick D. Calimlim, San Carlos Seminary.

The newly ordained priests will preside at thanksgiving Masses on separate dates at different parishes as follows:

Rev. Fr. Adviento at Most Holy Trinity Prish, Balic-Balic, Sampaloc, Manila on Oct. 6, 6:30 p.m. and St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral, Vigan, Ilocos Sur on Oct. 20, 9 a.m.

Rev. Fr. Babao at Holy Cross Parish, Tejeros, Makati on Sept. 30, 5:30 p.m. and Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Rosario Heights, Cotabato City on Oct. 10, 5:30 p.m.

Rev. Fr. Calimlim at Sts. Peter and Paul, Poblacion, Makati on Sept. 30, 10 a.m. and San Nicholas de Tolentino Parish, Castillejos, Zambales on Oct. 7, 5 p.m.

Rev. Fr. De Guzman at San Roque Parish, Mandaluyong City on Oct. 3, 6 p.m. and Parish and National Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, Marulas, Valenzuela City on Oct.7, 9 a.m.

Rev. Fr. Kintanar at Parokya ng Ina ng Laging Saklolo, Punta, Sta. Ana on Sept. 29, 6 p.m. and Mary Mediatrix of Grace Cathedral, Digos, Davao Del Sur on Oct. 7, 9 a.m.
