‘Todos Los Santos’ tackled in liturgical seminars
on Oct. 25 & 26

The Christian Formation Series organized by the San Beda College Alabang Office of Christian Formation and the Ministry for Liturgical Affairs of the Archdiocese of Manila continues with its second lecture on the timely topic of TODOS LOS SANTOS. The second lecture will be held, as in the first, in two venues on separate dates: October 25, 2007 at San Beda College Alabang at 7:30 p.m. and on October 26, 2007, at the San Carlos Seminary auditorium at the San Carlos Pastoral Formation Complex in Guadalupe, Edsa, Makati City, at 7 p.m.

The lecture will be conducted by Fr. Genaro Diwa head of the Ministry for Liturgical Affairs of the Archdiocese of Manila, and Fr. Gil Hernandez of the Archdiocese of Lipa.

As in the first lecture of the series which was on the topic THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY IN CHRISTIAN WORSHIP, the speakers will provide liturgical context aimed at enriching the faithful's understanding of basic elements of our Church beliefs that in turn advance their spiritual growth and development.

The topic for October will find clear resonance with Filipinos because it is a feast that is observed with devotion and public remembrance. The speakers will delve into its theology and the Christian rites involved. As this is a feast that is associated with the dead, the lecture will also touch on rites and prayers involving burial and the Filipinos’ remembering and honoring of their dear departed.
