MAGPAS OCTOBER ASSEMBLY FOCUSES ON MEDIA

            The MAGPAS First Saturday Assembly on October 4, 2008 will be on the theme "Falsehood and Disvalues in Media.” His Eminence Gaudencio B. Cardinal Rosales will give the main talk at 10:45 a.m.  at the gathering to be held at the Cardinal Sin Auditiorium at the Paco Catholic School.

            Registration for participants starts at 7 a.m. Msgr. Francisco Ungria will celebrate the mass at 8 a.m. This will be followed by a Perspective Setting by Dr. Gaines del Rosario. Fr. Antonio Pascual, president of Radio Veritas will give an overview before the talk of Cardinal Rosales.

            The objective for this October assembly is: to be able to identify falsehood and disvalues in media in the light of the Apostolic Vision of the Archdiocese of Manila.
