National Prayer for Peace for Mindanao
on Our Lady’s birthday on Sept 8

            The Family Rosary Crusade is encouraging a national prayer for peace in Mindanao on the birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Monday, September 8.

            It is inviting all families, communities and Marian organizations to pray for this intention. At six in the evening (6 p.m.), after the praying of the Angelus, people are asked to go out and line the streets holding rosaries and candles.

            When all their candles have been lighted, a leader will begin to pray rosary with only one intention—peace in Mindanao.
