Second National Congress of the Clergy set on
January 25-29, 2010

The Second National Congress of the Clergy will be held on January 25-29, 2010 at the SMX International Convention Center, Mall of Asia (MOA), Pasay City.
   
The theme is "Faithfulness of Christ, Faithfulness of Priests."

The congress will be part of the Philippine Church's celebration of  June 2009-June2010 as Year for Priests as declared by the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI.

Rev. Father Rainerio Cantalamesa, OFM Cap, Papal Preacher to John Paul II and the present Pope will be the Spiritual Retreat Preacher. Reflections will be given by Bishop Luis Antonio Tagle of the Diocese of Imus and other bishops.

Manila Archbishop Gaudencio B. Cardinal Rosales, chairman of the Episcopal Commission on the Clergy, is encouraging all the priests (diocesan and religious) of the Archdiocese of Manila to attend the Congress.

The registration form is attached and can be emailed directly to the NCC2 Secretariate, while the registration fee of PhP2,000.00 can be remitted to the Chancery on or before October 9, 2009.
