Benefit Concert for Caritas Manila

The world renowned Brigham Young University Chamber Orchestra will showcase their music in a benefit concert for Caritas Manila on May 16, 2017 at the Meralco Theater in Pasig City at 7 p.m.

The proceeds of the concert will be used to support Caritas Manila’s various social services and development programs for the poor.

Father Anton CT Pascual invites everyone to support the charity concert.

“I invite everyone to a night of music and charity. Please support the BYU Chamber Orchestra concert as a way of help also to the people in need that Caritas Manila supports,” Fr. Pascual said.

The BYU Chamber Orchestra, consists of approximately 47 musicians is conducted by Kory Katseane.  The orchestra represents BYU and the School of Music through international and national tours.

The orchestra has performed a variety of classical music throughout the U.S., Europe, and China and is the most widely-traveled university orchestra that has earned the “Highest Recommendation” rating by the National Endowment of the Arts.

Balladeer Tim Pavino, a Filipino singer who rose to fame after his stint in the Voice of the Philippines season 2 will be the guest performer in the concert.
