“KA-TALK WITH ARCHBISHOP DENCY”

The Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Archdiocese of Manila will hold a youth forum on February 28, 2004 at 1:00 –5:00 pm at the Mater Ecclesia Gym of the San Carlos Seminary in EDSA, Guadalupe, Makati City.

The event, dubbed as “VOTE KO ‘TO (Transformational Leadership)” is the first youth encounter between the archdiocese’s young people and their new archbishop Most Rev. Gaudencio B. Rosales, DD. The youth event will feature an audio-visual presentation entitled “A Closer Look at the Pinoy Youth Voters.” It will be highlighted with the “get-to-know” portion wherein Archbishop Rosales will talk about his mind and vision for the poor, as well as his views on politics and the upcoming national elections and his EXTRA-CHALLENGE to the youth of the Archdiocese of Manila.

Fr. Rufino Sescon, Minister of the Ministry for Youth Affairs, along with the other youth directors and coordinators said that it is the moral response of the church to let the voices of the youth be heard and let it echoed to the political and church leaders.

The country’s premiere folk singer Noel Cabangon and celebrity role model and youth advocate Roxanne Barcelo will grace the youth forum.
