“KA-TALK WITH ARCHBISHOP DENCY”
The Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Archdiocese of Manila will
hold a youth forum on February 28, 2004 at 1:00 –5:00 pm at
the Mater Ecclesia Gym of the San Carlos Seminary in EDSA, Guadalupe,
Makati City.
The event, dubbed as “VOTE KO ‘TO (Transformational
Leadership)” is the first youth encounter between the archdiocese’s
young people and their new archbishop Most Rev. Gaudencio B. Rosales,
DD. The youth event will feature an audio-visual presentation entitled
“A Closer Look at the Pinoy Youth Voters.” It will be
highlighted with the “get-to-know” portion wherein Archbishop
Rosales will talk about his mind and vision for the poor, as well
as his views on politics and the upcoming national elections and
his EXTRA-CHALLENGE to the youth of the Archdiocese of Manila.
Fr. Rufino Sescon, Minister of the Ministry for Youth Affairs,
along with the other youth directors and coordinators said that
it is the moral response of the church to let the voices of the
youth be heard and let it echoed to the political and church leaders.
The country’s premiere folk singer Noel Cabangon and celebrity
role model and youth advocate Roxanne Barcelo will grace the youth
forum.
