Cardinal Sin: Pray for your priests; do not abandon them

Jaime L. Cardinal Sin, Archbishop of Manila, has called on the faithful to pray with more fervor and urgency for the sanctification of priests.

In a pastoral letter entitled, “Heart of Jesus Enlighten Us,” Cardinal Sin declared a Week of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests from June 22 to 29. This is in line with celebration of the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 27. On this day, he asked the faithful to have a Holy Hour of Penance for the sins of priests and sins against priests.
