Bishop Socrates Mesiona, in one of his public speaking engagements, has invited all the faithful to attend the Mass to be presided by the Papal Nuncio.

"Let us show to the Nuncio the warmth of our Catholic faith here in the Vicariate," he said in Filipino.

The 61-year-old Nuncio hails from Milan, Italy and came to the Philippines as papal ambassador in 2017. Prior to his assignment to the country, he was a Nuncio to Lebanon for 8 years.

The Holy Mass as the highlight of Bugsayan will be concelebrated by Bishop Mesiona with the clergy from the Vicariate of Puerto Princesa and Taytay on November 30, 11 AM at the Puerto Princesa City Coliseum.

Bugsayan is an annual event in Puerto Princesa and Southern Palawan since 2014, attended by thousands of faithful from 32 parishes in the  Vicariate.

This year's theme is "Grateful for the Faith: We receive. We celebrate. We live. We Proclaim." (Katya A. Santos/SOCOM - Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa)
