SAN JOSE DE TROZO PARISH

The San Jose de Trozo Parish Church is a Roman Catholic church in Sta. Cruz, Manila founded in 1933. The current parish priest is Fr. Anthony Olaguer III, LRMS together with Fr. Peter Zhangxuelei and Fr. William Tan, LRMS.

The church is under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila.

Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interest and desires.

Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers.

Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you, and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him close in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for me. Amen.

Itinatalaga namin ang aming sarili na patuloy na maging bukas sa Diyos at sa kapwa sa pananaw ng pananampalataya, sa panawagan ng pag-ibig at patuloy na pagbibigay ng pag-asa.

Itinatalaga namin ang aming mga sarili na patuloy sa pagpapalago ng kamalayan na siyang magtataguyod ng pagpapanibago at pagsasapanahon ng sambayanan.

Ipinapangako namin na kami ay magkakaisa at maging laging handang tumugon sa panawagan ng paglilingkod bilang mga tunay na saksi ni Kristo, ang huwarang punong tagapaglingkod.

Isang sambayanan na naka-ugat sa Ama, nakatuon kay Kristo, pinaghaharian ng Banal na Espiritu, matatag sa pananampalataya, nagkakaisa sa pag-ibig at puno ng pag-asa mulat at tumutugon sa mga pagbabago ng panahon at patuloy na nagtutulungan hanggang sa katuparan ng Kaharian ng Diyos na siyang kaganapan ng buhay.

Our History

Trozo, the Spanish name for logs was attached to San Jose de Trozo Parish situated at 1340 Masangkay St, Sta. Cruz, Manila, to distinguish it from other parishes with the same name and patron saint.
